Accreditation of the Calibration Laboratory-  Since July of 2003, Helmut Fischer GmbH + Co.KG is the first company in Germany to have a calibration laboratory for the measurement quantity "mass per unit area" certified according to DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025. This certification entitles Fischer to issue DKD calibration certificates in the name of the Deutscher Kalibrierdienst [German Calibration Service] for mass per unit area calibration standards that are used, for example, to calibrate X-ray fluorescence instruments for coating thickness measurements and materials analysis.
